School bags and supplies for 30 children in Hatton
Children from low-income families received school bags, exercise books, pencil cases and ACT T-shirts, with their parents beside them.
ACT Foundation donated 30 school bags, exercise books, pencil cases and ACT T-shirts to children from low income families. The children were accompanied by their parents. It was wonderful to see their smiling faces as they received their bags. They quickly put on the T-shirts for a group photo, chatting away excitedly with each other.
Our gratitude to the sponsors from around the world, through ACT Foundation UK for their kind donation which enabled this service of developing education in this much needed area of Kotagala.
